What a window repair costs
Typical Singapore market ranges, so you can sanity-check any quotation you are given. Your actual price comes from the assigned contractor once they have seen the photos, and every quotation must state what is included, what is excluded and whether GST applies.

Who is allowed to work on an HDB window
The rule that catches people out is the line between maintenance and replacement. HDB states that flat owners or occupants are responsible for maintaining existing aluminium windows — that covers most repairs. But installing or replacing a new aluminium window must be carried out by a BCA-approved window contractor listed in HDB's directory, and BCA defines that as a firm registered under workhead RW01.
WindowRepair.sg does not hold that registration and does not claim it. Where your job falls into the regulated category, we assign it to a partner that does.

Does WindowRepair.sg carry out the repair itself?
No. WindowRepair.sg is an information and quotation platform. The repair, installation or replacement work is carried out by the assigned contractor partner. Before you book, you receive that contractor's legal company name, its relevant registration details, the quotation and the warranty terms.
Does HDB window repair require a BCA-approved contractor?
It depends on the work. HDB states that installation or replacement of new aluminium windows must be carried out by a BCA-approved window contractor listed in HDB's directory, and that flat owners or occupants are responsible for maintaining existing windows. Where regulated work is involved, we assign it to a partner holding the required approval and listing.
What photos do you need for a window repair quotation?
Three things: one photo of the whole window from inside, one close-up of the faulty part or the damage, and — if the problem is about movement, sticking or noise — a short video of you operating the window. Photos taken with the window both open and closed help a great deal.
How much does window repair cost in Singapore?
Most single-part repairs on an existing window fall between S$50 and S$300 per window, fitted. Sliding roller replacement is the cheapest common job at roughly S$50 to S$150 a panel; handles, locks, hinges and friction stays typically run S$80 to S$180; glass is about S$100 to S$300 a pane. Is a remote assessment from photos a diagnosis?
No. A photo assessment narrows down the likely fault category and gets your case to the right contractor. It is not a final technical diagnosis. The assigned contractor confirms the actual fault, and for leakage and intermittent faults an on-site inspection is normally required before any repair price is given.
