How much does window repair cost in Singapore?
Most single-part window repairs in Singapore fall between S$50 and S$300 per window, fitted. Rollers are the cheapest common job at around S$50 to S$150 a panel; handles, locks, hinges and friction stays typically run S$80 to S$180; glass is S$100 to S$300 a pane depending on size and thickness. Replacing a whole window is a different category at roughly S$400 to S$900.

Window repair prices by service
Ranges are per window unless stated, and assume the frame itself is sound. They are for sanity-checking a quotation you have been given — your actual number comes from the assigned contractor once they have seen the photos.

How to compare two quotations
Two numbers are only comparable once you have lined up what sits behind them. Check each quotation for:
- The exact part named — a like-for-like replacement, or an adapted substitute?
- Whether labour, transport and disposal are inside the price or added later.
- Whether GST is included or excluded.
- The warranty period and what it actually covers.
- What happens if additional work is found — quoted and agreed first, or invoiced afterwards?
- Whether an inspection fee is charged, and whether it is credited against the repair.
A headline number with none of these defined is not a cheaper quotation. It is an incomplete one.

Is the range the price I will actually pay?
Treat it as a sanity check, not a quotation. It tells you whether a number you have been given is roughly in the market. Your actual price depends on the specific part, how many windows are done in one visit, access, and what is found behind the fault — plus any transport or inspection charge, which is normally a separate line.
Is the inspection fee charged even if I do not proceed?
That is set by the partner and must be stated up front, before the visit. For leakage and intermittent faults an inspection is often the only responsible way to quote, so the fee is quoted separately rather than buried in a repair price.
Do prices include GST?
Every quotation must state clearly whether the price includes or excludes GST. If a quotation you receive does not say, ask before accepting it — that single question prevents most billing disputes.
What if the contractor finds more work once they start?
It has to be quoted and agreed before it is carried out. Additional work appearing on the final invoice without prior agreement is a complaint we act on, and repeated cases are grounds for suspending a partner.
How do I compare two window repair quotations fairly?
Line them up on five things: the exact parts named, whether labour and transport are included, whether GST is included, the warranty period, and what happens if additional work is found. A cheaper headline number with none of those defined is usually not cheaper.
