Contractor Partner Standards
What we check before a contractor receives a single lead — and what stops them receiving another one.
How are WindowRepair.sg contractor partners verified?
Before a contractor receives any work we check the ACRA company name and UEN, the BCA RW01 registration where the work requires it, the HDB listing for HDB work, insurance, service scope and coverage, quotation and warranty rules, and how they handle return visits. Registration expiry dates are recorded with reminders. Every partner completes a test job before receiving a full allocation.
| Minimum partner count | Three, so one unavailable contractor does not stop the service |
|---|---|
| Leads per case | One partner at a time — never broadcast |
| Basis for assignment | Approval, skill, coverage, capacity and prior quality |
| What partners pay for | Completed work — not for placement |
| Before full allocation | A test job is completed and reviewed |
The onboarding checklist
Every item below is checked and recorded before a partner is activated. Registration and insurance expiry dates carry reminders, because an approval that lapsed six months ago is the same as no approval at all.
- ACRA legal company name and UEN, checked against the register.
- Current BCA RW01 registration where the work category requires it.
- Current HDB listing for HDB work where required.
- Named trained installers and the work scope they cover.
- Insurance details, received and checked — not described.
- Price list or quotation rules, including how variations are handled.
- Service areas and the hours they actually work.
- Warranty policy and the return-visit process.
- References or sample work.
- A written agreement to protect customer data and use it only for the assigned job.
- A completed test job before full allocation begins.
How your enquiry is assigned
Classified
By property type, window type, fault, urgency, area and likely value.
Matched
One partner is selected on approval status, skill for that specific fault, location, capacity and prior quality.
Given a deadline
The partner has a response deadline set by urgency. Urgent safety cases carry the shortest.
Reassigned only if needed
If the partner declines or misses the deadline, the case moves. It is not run as a race between contractors.
Recorded
Every contact, quotation, booking, completion and payment status is logged against the job number.
What we measure, continuously
| Metric | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Response time | Set by urgency. We track the median and every late case, not the average. |
| Quote rate | A low rate can mean wrong routing on our side, or a partner cherry-picking jobs. |
| Quote acceptance | Compared by partner, service and price band — an outlier usually means pricing, not luck. |
| Completion rate | Cancellations and no-shows are investigated, not written off. |
| Customer rating | A minimum rolling standard applies. |
| Complaint rate | Safety, damage or misleading-quotation complaints are reviewed immediately. |
| Warranty return rate | Tracked by repair type — a pattern points at method, not bad luck. |
| Reporting accuracy | Commission depends on complete job records. |
For contractors: what working with us involves
We handle the acquisition, the qualification and the customer communication; you handle the technical work. In return we ask for real response times, written quotations in the required format, honest reporting of completed job values, and permission-based photos we can use as case studies. Payment is on completed work.
Terms cover lead ownership and a non-bypass period, limits on contacting the customer for unrelated marketing, approval and registration warranties, the quotation and variation process, service levels, workmanship and damage responsibility, insurance, confidentiality, complaint handling, our right to suspend assignments, and what happens to open jobs on termination.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find a safe window repair contractor in Singapore?
Ask for the legal company name and UEN, and check them yourself rather than accepting a photograph of a certificate. For work that requires it, verify the firm against BCA's directory of RW01-registered window contractors and HDB's listing. Then check that the quotation names the parts, states inclusions, exclusions and GST, and gives a written warranty period.
How many partners do you work with?
The operating rule is at least three suitable partners, so that one unavailable contractor does not stop the service. Coverage overlaps enough to keep the service running, but any single lead is assigned to only one partner at a time.
Are your partners BCA-approved?
For work that requires it, yes — that is a condition of receiving that category of work. WindowRepair.sg itself does not hold BCA registration and does not claim it. Registration belongs to the contractor, and we show you which registration applies to your job before you book.
Can a contractor pay you for better placement?
No. Assignment is based on approval status, skill for the specific fault, coverage, capacity and prior performance. Partners pay on completed work, not for position, so paying more does not move a partner up the queue.
What gets a partner suspended?
Safety issues, damage, misleading quotations, work carried out without the required approval, adding charges that were never agreed, or a pattern of missed appointments and slow response. Any one of these triggers a review; serious cases stop assignment immediately.
