How It Works
Six steps, one assigned contractor, and the contractor's identity in your hands before anything is booked.
How does a WindowRepair.sg quotation work?
You send photos of the window. We check they are usable, place the fault in a category and give the enquiry a job number. The case is assigned to one suitable contractor partner — not broadcast to a list. Before you book, you receive that contractor's legal company name, relevant registration details, written quotation and warranty terms. The contractor does the work and invoices you directly.
| What you send | One full-window photo, one close-up, plus a video for movement faults |
|---|---|
| Contractors contacted | One at a time, assigned — you are not called by several firms |
| What you get before booking | Partner identity, registration details, quotation and warranty terms |
| Who you pay | The contractor, directly |
| Who to call if it goes wrong | Us, with your job number |
The six steps
Send photos
Send one full-window photo, one close-up of the fault and a short video if the problem is about movement or noise. Use the form or WhatsApp.
We check the case
We check the photos are usable, work out the likely fault category and give the enquiry a job number.
A partner is assigned
The case goes to one suitable contractor partner, chosen on approval status, skill, coverage and capacity — not broadcast to a list.
You get the details
Before booking you receive the contractor's legal company name, relevant registration details, the quotation and the warranty terms.
The repair is done
The contractor attends, completes the agreed work, and quotes anything additional before carrying it out.
We follow up
We check you are satisfied, record the outcome and ask for a review. Case-study permission is asked for separately.
What you will be told at each stage
| Stage | What the message tells you |
|---|---|
| Received | Your job number and what happens next. |
| More information needed | Exactly which photo, video or measurement is missing. |
| Assigned | The contractor's identity and how they will contact you. |
| Quoted | Scope, exclusions, price, payment terms and warranty. |
| Booked | Date, arrival window and anything you need to prepare. |
| Completed | Invoice, warranty and who to contact for support. |
| Follow-up | A satisfaction check and a review request. |
Where our responsibility starts and stops
We are responsible for assessing your enquiry honestly, verifying partners before they receive work, assigning your case to a suitable one, telling you who they are before you commit, holding partners to the quotation and warranty rules, and handling your complaint if something goes wrong.
The contractor partner is responsible for the technical diagnosis on site, the quotation, the workmanship, the invoice, the warranty and their own regulatory compliance. We check that compliance before assigning; we do not perform the work and do not claim their approvals as our own.
The three things we need
- One full-window photo taken from inside, showing the whole window and its surroundings.
- One close-up of the faulty part or the damage, sharp and well lit.
- A short video — only if the problem involves movement, sticking or noise. Ten seconds is enough.
Photos with the window both open and closed help. Please do not lean out of a window or climb to take a photo — send what you can safely reach.
Frequently asked questions
Is the photo assessment a diagnosis?
No. A photo assessment narrows the likely fault category and gets your case to a contractor with the right skills and approvals. It is not a final technical diagnosis. The assigned contractor confirms the actual fault, and for leakage and intermittent faults an on-site inspection is normally required before any repair price is given.
Is my enquiry sent to several contractors at once?
No. Each lead is assigned to one suitable partner at a time, chosen on approval status, skill, coverage, capacity and prior quality. It is reassigned only if that partner declines or misses their response deadline. You do not get called by five companies.
When do I find out who the contractor is?
Before booking. You receive their legal company name, the relevant registration details for your type of work, the written quotation and the warranty terms. If any of those is missing, tell us rather than proceeding.
Do I pay WindowRepair.sg or the contractor?
You pay the contractor directly. They quote, invoice and collect. WindowRepair.sg is paid by the partner on completed work, which is why we have an interest in the job actually being finished properly rather than just in generating a call.
What if the repair goes wrong or the warranty is not honoured?
Tell us, with the job number. We take it up with the partner. Repeated complaints, safety issues, damage, or misleading quotations are grounds for suspending a partner from receiving further work.
What photos are needed for a window repair quotation?
One photo of the whole window taken from inside, one sharp close-up of the faulty part or damage, and a short video if the problem involves movement, sticking or noise. Photos with the window both open and closed help. Never lean out or climb to take one.
